Burt's Bees Put the Sting in Cranberry & Pomegranate Replenishing Body Bar - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Methinks Burt'due south industrious bees put a picayune too much of themselves into their new Cranberry & Pomegranate Replenishing Body Bar ($v) because it hurts. so. good.
Well, adept…depending on how you use it. While I thoroughly enjoy the odour, which smells but similar cranberry juice to me, the bar doesn't exactly make for a relaxing shower experience.
Since I'd merely about finished the Beloved & Shea Workout Bar I picked up a while back (), I was on the market for a new body bar to attempt and picked up this here Cranberry version at the drugstore last week.
The bees at Burt's, Inc. added crushed cranberry and pomegranate seeds to the recipe to, co-ordinate to the print on the box, provide a "rich, natural lather leaving skin smooth and rejuvenated," and like the Dear & Shea Workout bar, it builds into a lush, creamy lather that also rinses clean. Unlike its more soothing cousin, though, it contains those exfoliating seeds…
…and they're pretty hard to ignore. I can handle the abrasiveness on places like my elbows and anxiety, where the peel is naturally a little thicker than elsewhere, but everywhere else, it kinda hurts, no matter how low-cal a touch I try to employ.
Not bad for grating stubborn grime away from resilient peel, and I'll go along it around to occasionally work on my rough spots, but I think I'll stick to the Dear & Shea bar for the rest o' my bod.
PRICE: $v
